Aaron Yeargan has almost twenty years of, combined, military, law enforcement, and private security experience.  He is the School Safety Coordinator at the St. Jude School in Chattanooga, TN.  After spending eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he deployed to Iraq four times, Aaron spent five years as an emergency medical technician before getting hired by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.  His law enforcement career included service in the Corrections, Patrol, and Youth & Community (SRO) Divisions.  While at the sheriff’s office, Aaron’s collateral duties included being a member of the Crisis Intervention Team, the Marine Patrol, and the Hostage Negotiation Team.  He also assisted the training division as a DUI Detection and Field Sobriety Instructor.  After leaving the sheriff’s office, Aaron became a private security contractor and consultant specializing in situational awareness, threat assessments, verbal de-escalation, and active shooter response training.  He is also an armed security instructor and trainer at ZirkOps Security and Training in Harrison, Tennessee.  Aaron is an alumnus of the University of the Cumberlands and National American University.
